Savor Yoga Retreats Cancellation Policy
At Savor Yoga Retreats, we understand that life is full of the unexpected. While we do our best to be flexible and accommodating, our cancellation policy reflects our financial commitments to retreat venues, vendors, and partners who help us bring these experiences to life. We encourage you to read this carefully and reach out with any questions.
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Savor Retreats requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking and the remaining 50% balance two months prior to the retreat start date.
If you would like a payment plan tailored to your financial needs, we are happy to work with you so you can attend our retreat. Please email our business manager, Liz Krauss, at emckwn@comcast.net to arrange a plan that works for you.
All payments to Savor Retreats are non-refundable, which is why we require travel insurance for all guests.
Protecting your health and financial investment is important. We highly recommend World Nomads for travel insurance. Many of our guests have used them with excellent results when unexpected obstacles arise, such as illness or injury preventing attendance, or the need for medical care while traveling.
Cancellations by Participants
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: jenmastyoga@gmail.com.
Because we invest in your retreat experience well in advance—reserving accommodations, meals, teachers, and excursions—all deposits are non-refundable, without exception.
If you cancel your participation:
- More than 90 days prior to the retreat start date:
Any payments beyond your deposit may be transferred to another Savor retreat (pending availability), or to a friend or family member or student interested in attending the same retreat or already attending the retreat. We will help to coordinate the details of this transaction, either rolling money to another guest attending the retreat or a refund to you after receipt of deposit from the new guest - 90 days or fewer before the retreat start date:
All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless we are able to fill your spot. If we fill your spot, we’ll offer you the option to receive refund of all money accept your deposit or to transfer your balance (minus the deposit) to another Savor retreat within the next calendar year.
Switching from one retreat to another is considered a cancellation of the original reservation and will be subject to the policies outlined above.
Retreat Cancellation Fee
The non-refundable deposit ($500 or otherwise specified) serves as the cancellation fee.
Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
We cannot offer refunds or credits for:
- Arriving late or leaving early
- Personal emergencies or illness
- Weather disruptions
- Travel delays or flight cancellations
For these reasons, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation coverage.
Cancellation by Savor Yoga Retreats
In the unlikely event that we must cancel a retreat due to low enrollment, teacher illness, or logistical issues, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to us. We cannot reimburse airfare or other travel costs incurred.
If cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control (such as weather, natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or other force majeure events), we will do our best to issue appropriate refunds depending on what we are able to recover from our vendors. In such cases, travel insurance is your best safeguard.
Non-Payment
If a scheduled payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and release your spot to another guest. No refunds will be issued in this case.
We are grateful for your understanding and encourage all guests to protect their investment with travel insurance. These policies allow us to continue offering thoughtfully curated, soul-nourishing retreat experiences across the globe.
